 On Sunday 28th October, the APU Women's Athletic Club competed in the 25th Japan Intercollegiate Women's Marathon Relay Championship. Held in Sendai, this was the seventh consecutive year for the club to participate in the race and they finished in 15th place.
Unfortunately the athletes appeared not to be in their usual top condition, however every member did her best until the end of the incredibly tough race.
The members thanked everyone for their encouragement, and in preparation for next year's 26th Japan Intercollegiate Women's Marathon Relay Championship, they will begin a tough training schedule. Please show your support by continuing to cheer them on!
Ritsumeikan University finished in a new record time of 2 hours, 6 minutes & 19 seconds, securing their victory for the second year running.
