		At the APU Entrance Ceremony on Wednesday 2nd April, the "Ceremony for Conferment of the Title of Professor Emeritus" was held in one of the B-con Plaza . Following the greetings by APU President CASSIM, the title of "Professor Emeritus" was awarded to Professors KOHGA Mitsuhide and OGATA Masakatsu respectively. According to APU Professors Emeritus Regulations, the title of "Professor Emeritus" is awarded to someone who, as a teacher of APU, has made a particularly remarkable contribution to the university, education and research. Teachers to whom the title of "Professors Emeritus" has been given so far are: SAKAMOTO Kazuichi:Former President of Ritsumeikan Asia Pacific University and Professor at Ritsumeikan University. JIDO Yuji: Former Vice President of Ritsumeikan Asia Pacific University and Professor at Ritsumeikan University. Note)Position current at time of the ceremony.
