Because the undergrowth in a crowded forest does not receive much sunlight, forests that are properly thinned and managed absorb large amounts of carbon dioxide. Thinned Forest Paper is an ecological paper that contributes to a new environmentally conscious society.この冊子は「 間伐材紙 」を使用しています。間伐材紙とは、植林された森林を健全に育成するために伐採した「 間伐材 」を活用した紙のことです。木々で込み合った森林の土壌には日光が充分に届かず、木々や下草の成長を阻害します。適切に間伐を行い管理された森林は、太い幹としっかりとした枝葉によって二酸化炭素を多量に吸収し、地球温暖化防止にも役立ちます。間伐材紙は、新しい環境循環型社会に寄与するエコロジーペーパーです。
