Please check the Academic Ofce website regularly for updates.・ Once a student has been accepted to a seminar, the University will automatically register the class. Please conrm the registration of your seminar course before the end of Course Registration Period B.3rd & 4th Year Seminars for Accelerated Graduation Program and Exchange StudentsAccelerated Graduation Program students and students on exchange (or who have just nished an exchange program) should refer to the following chart for information on registering for 3rd and 4th year seminars. Application procedures for returning exchange students will also be discussed at the pre-departure exchange program guidance session. Period Registration Details Application Period Accelerated Graduation Program Students6th Semester GraduationRegistration of Major Seminar, Graduation ResearchⅠ/ Research Seminar and Graduation Research Ⅱ/ Undergraduate Thesis in 6th Semester (Total 8 credits)Applications will be accepted during the regular application period. For students who do not obtain credits for Graduation ResearchⅠ/ Research Seminar or Graduation Research Ⅱ/ Undergraduate Thesis in their 6th or 7th semester, the University will register these subjects again the following semester7th Semester GraduationRegistration of Graduation ResearchⅠ/ Research Seminar and Graduation Research Ⅱ/ Undergraduate Thesis in 7th Semester (Total 6 credits)Exchange StudentsExchange inthe 5th and 6th SemestersSeminar courses for 5 & 6 semester cannot be taken while on exchange.Students who wish to take a seminar course from their 7th semester are required to apply on the designated application period during the 6th semester.Exchange inthe 6th and 7th SemestersStudents who wish to take the 8th semester seminar courses after returning to APU will have to receive remote instruction to be registered for the 7th semester seminar courses. In this case, submission of "Provision of Remote Instruction" form is required by the nal date of the session period in the 6th semester. Please consult with your seminar instructor and receive their agreement beforehand. Those who have taken the seminar courses for 5th semester need to cancel the courses during the designated cancellation period before leaving for exchange. There is no need to re-apply when resuming the seminar course in returning to APU. *Please note that completion of the 7th semester seminar course, Graduation Research Ⅰ/Research Seminar, is required to take Graduation Research Ⅱ/Undergraduate Thesis.IMPORTANTAccelerated Graduation Program students will take 3rd and 4th year seminars at differenttimes than regular students. Please consult with your desired instructor and ensure you have room for these subjects in your study plan before applying.
