The relationship
of cooperation between the Oita Prefectural Government, the Ritsumeikan
Trust and APU was formalized on November 17 with the signing of
a trilateral exchange agreement at the prefectural offices. Present
at the signing were Oita Governor HIROSE Katsusada, Chairman of
the Ritsumeikan Trust KAWAMOTO Hachiro and APU President Monte
CASSIM. Prior to signing the agreement, Chairman Kawamoto explained
the purpose of the agreement, to which the Governor responded by
expressing his hopes for deeper relations between the three parties
in the future. President Cassim closed the ceremony by sharing
his ambitions for APU in the coming years.
APU has always shared close cooperative ties with the Oita Government. This agreement
provides an opportunity to strengthen those ties further by promoting regional
activities and education in Oita. |
