On Saturday, December 15, 2012, the “PRENGO Arigato 10th Anniversary Gathering” was held to mark student circle’s 10th anniversary. Held at the Cafeteria, this event brought together past and present members of PRENGO to look back on the last 10 years and to discuss the future of the organization. Approximately 60 former and 70 current members attended including inaugural PRENGO representative WAKABAYASHI Yasuhiro (APM grad’07) and six other former representatives. During the stand-up dinner party a thank you message from the people of Rayon Provence in Thailand – one of the aid regions PRENGO is active – was screened. The celebrations also featured speeches from some of the organization’s founding members. The second half of the gathering was held at the Multipurpose Hall and an outline of future activities was given by current project leaders including current PRENGO representative, IKEDA Aiko (APS2, Japan). People then shared their views on the next 10 years for the organization and expressed their hopes to meet again at the 15th anniversary.
