Ms. GUNAWARDANA Charitha Lakmali (APM4, Sri Lanka) has been announced as the winner of the Ando Momofuku Honor Prize for the 2012 spring semester. During the screening presentations (July 11), Ms. GUNAWARDANA delivered a speech under the title of “Peace through Education - Providing a secure environment for Learning”.
The ANDO Momofuku Honor Prize was established through the courtesy of the late Dr. ANDO Momofuku, founder of Nissin Food Products Co., ltd. and honorary doctor. The scholarship aims to support undergraduate students who are scheduled to graduate and who have a strong desire to contribute to the Asia Pacific Region in their future careers. Each year one or two students are awarded this scholarship.
