Spend your summer at the international campus of Ritsumeikan Asia Pacific University (APU) in Beppu, Japan and improve your Japanese skills!

The Summer APU Gateway Program will offer intensive beginner to intermediate Japanese language courses. Furthermore with this opportunity, not only you can expand your knowledge of Japanese and Asia Pacific cultures but also deepen intercultural understanding by studying alongside students from over 80 countries and regions!

Program Features:

Intensive beginner's to intermediate Japanese language courses (Twelve 95-minute classes per week).
Experienced instructors.
Interchange with APU Buddies
Access to undergraduate academic courses in English (up to two courses)
Activities on and off campus such as tea ceremony and martial arts.
Overnight field trip to Nagasaki.
