| Description: | The experience that I had in Australia for a year can be referred as the toughest time during my life. Macquarie University had more than two hundred of students as exchanges students and the university was treating exchange students with their care. Most of them were from America or Europe and the students from Asia was minority among them.
First, it was hard for me to get along with Australian Students. As I participated in many programs with other exchange students it obviously helped me to make friends from America and Europe. However, there were not many chances to get along with Australia students. Eventually in the end of the first semester in Macquarie University, I found my self having many of my friends as exchange students and having non on Australian friends. In the second semester, as I moved to another dorm I got to know some Australian friends as a housemate and became to get along with them. I tried to hang out when they asked me to and this made me to have Australian friends eventually during the second semester. What I really tried during the exchange student program was to get along with other country students as much as can, trying to be a person who can live there without difference.
This also applied to my studies in Macquarie University. I tried to study as ordinary students in the university, not be left behind. The classes were not that easy as in APU. It required large amounts of reading which took me every 2hours to read the whole materials. In the result, I became to get passed in all lectures that I took and even got high grade in few reports that I wrote. |

| Description: | My student exchange experience
1 year in France was not simply an exchange program but one of the memorable experiences in many aspects which enrich my university life. In terms of academics, ESC Rouen provided full range of advanced management courses and classes related to French cultures, including Oenology (wine tasting), French civilization, etc. Being in the center of Western Europe enabled me to travel extensively through neighboring country even in the weekends. Italy was among the countless destinations that I favor of.
People around me said there is a positive change after the program, attitude and interpersonal skills. After all, France has giving me something. |
